Why we started
We began this journey because we believe that the biggest technology shift of our lifetime has the potential to revolutionise the way we work, the way we live, and the way we transact. AI is a general purpose technology, like electricity. Just as electricity transformed almost everything a century ago, and brought one of the greatest economic prosperity in history; AI is set to reshape our lives in a similar way. Our mission is to harness the technology to build products and technology that enrich people's lives.
A typical smartphone today carries around eighty apps. Our brains were not evolved to be switching between eighty different apps. Modern life is a constant barrage of notifications. Technology should enable us, not hinder us. Done right, it frees us for what matters, connects us to people, and helps us communicate and decide well. We understand that technology shouldn't demand more of our humanity. It should give it back to us. The answer isn't another new app, it's a totally new way of doing things.
That's why we built Eden
To make AI intuitive, powerful, and useful, in everyone's hands. Eden is an excellent communicator. An intelligent assistant. And a personal companion. Eden is the front door to your digital life. Eden navigates and uses the applications that you use everyday, and gets things done for you, like booking flights, ordering dinner, reserving movie tickets, paying bills, scheduling appointments, and replying to messages. While none of these are individually life changing, a lot of these things take 10-15 minutes manually, and collectively give you back hours each day. Eden helps manage and organize your life so you can live life to the fullest, and never miss a moment.
Eden represents a new type of intelligence: a more human intelligence that understands your needs intuitively and makes life easier. We're creating an intelligence that contains intuition. A technology that feels so deeply personal and intuitive that you wonder how you lived life without it. We do so through attention to detail and careful crafting of the user experience that it becomes effortlessly invisible.
When friction is removed, new markets are created.
We see all commerce shifting to agents. That is why Eden was built to transact, not just chat. We've built the most secure and easy way for agents to book and pay for flights, hotels, concert tickets and everything in between, while offering rewards to users for using Eden.
$107.5 trillion is spent each year online. AI agents today handle 0.0001% of all online spending. We believe that number will increase a hundredfold by 2028 and a thousandfold by 2030. Most AI interactions today are simple: you ask a question and get back an answer. That only uses a fraction of the capabilities of AI. It's akin to buying a PC and only opening the calculator app. That gap between what we use AI for day to day and its potential is large.
A new era of computing
We're entering into a new era with tremendous potential to improve people's lives and push the boundary of technology. Modern computing began with punchcards fed into giant machines. Command line terminals introduced a new machine language. The graphical user interface brought computers to the mainstream by adding visuals, buttons and windows. In 2007, touchscreen shrank those windows into a grid of apps. Each shift brought technology closer to understanding and acting on human intent. We believe the next shift removes that gap entirely. Just as the graphical interface turned computers from machines we had to command into tools we could simply use, agents turn the internet from a maze we must navigate into a world that moves with us. The result is fewer tabs, fewer decisions, and more time for the people and experiences that matter. Eden represents a new way of getting things done. We believe in technology that makes people's lives better, not performatively better, but actually better.
The use cases are broad, and impossible to cover in a single post. We're opening access to Eden through an invitation system in which existing users can invite others to join.
